  Worst builders we have ever encountered, The owner Chris Thornton personally built our house. Very poor workmanship by Chris Thornton himself, not to mention his subcontractors. Straight up nastiness and deception by Kate and Chris. No communication, just lies and deception, no after sales service forcing us to fair trading, TWICE..

  We have been in our GJ Gardner home for nine months now and are absolutely thrilled with the level of quality and service provided by the New England team. From the very first meeting, Kate's outstanding level of professionalism and product knowledge put our minds at ease as she worked tirelessly to deliver us a product that not only met our high expectations but that stayed within our budget as well. Nothing was too much trouble for the team who moved us through the building process seamlessly, ensuring that we were kept well informed throughout the entire build and that any issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The fixed price contract with no hidden costs, great quality fittings and fixtures and their willingness to tailor a product to meet our needs meant that building with GJ Gardner Homes New England was an easy choice. It was an absolute privilege to build a home with a team of professionals who take such immense pride in the level of service and quality of product they provide, and who genuinely share in the excitement of building your home!

  We have had G J Gardner build next door to us. During that time we have had to endure water being pushed onto our property when it has rained and surrounding our building due to no down pipes being put in and no adequate temporary drainage being added. We have contacted G J Gardner repeatedly to do something about this but the veiled attempts have broken. Our home currently has water up against the northern wall and water running into our front yard. This is not acceptable building practice.

  Absolutely disgusted in the way Kate and Chris run their company, I completed work for them February this year and they have refused to pay our company for the work we did, three other tradies on the same job are out of pocket as well after completing their work then Chris and Kate making excuses as why they can't pay. Wont answer emails or phone calls, have forced us to go to fair trading and now debt collectors. Why should they get paid for work other company's have done.
