  It was winter, sub zero temps were common. Air-conditioning didn't work and they didn't know what was wrong. The WiFi which there website claimed was not horrible was in fact horrible. It frequently didn't work, and constantly dropped out. The power went out for several hours on two occasions with no obvious reason why, ie it was a fine winters day, no storms of any sort and I couldn't figure out why. The entryway is full of potholes, deep ones too. Returning one night I nearly tore the suspension out of my car on a deep one. The office is rarely open and they have a sign saying to call them if needed. There was also a rather odd amount of cats running about, all different breeds and ages. From calico, to tabby, to bombay and more besides. It is fully furnished however I found that the dishwashing liquid was half empty and the toilet paper 3/4 used, also the toilet wasn't "hygienically sealed" as proof of cleaning. All in all its not recommended.

  I stayed here because it had the best price in Armidale that I could find. I was in a 1-bedroom cabin, which turned out to have two bedrooms, and it was $325 for 4 nights. I was pleased with the quality of the room and amenities. The room was big inside, and had a very well-stocked kitchen (toaster, toaster, oven, stove top, microwave, kettle, lots of pots and pans, etc...). The bed/mattress was good quality and seemed pretty new - it also had a heating blanket, which was awesome. The staff were also very friendly. Best of all, there is a pool and big grass area which is nice if you want to go for a walk.

  This business is crap. Whenever it suits the owner / managers, they apparently just close up shop and hang out the "we are not open" sign, no matter how many guests are in house. Send a message, drive on thru Armidale either to the north or south .... there are some very nice accommodation places not too far either side of Armidale. To the owner/operator of Armidale Acres ... YOU STINK
