  The ambience and service gets 5+ stars. I called only two days beforehand and was able to be squeezed in for a weekend lunch. The dining area under the trees was beautiful, made even better by perfect weather. It's impossible not to feel happy and relaxed in these surroundings. Food was okay - the bread that came with the charcuterie plate was amazing. The charcuterie was good too. Mains and dessert were okay. If I'm back next time I'll probably just order a bunch of entrees as tapas!

  Amazingly beautiful early 20th century building, and so reasonably priced. Great food and service. Highly recommended.

  Visited petersons for a wedding event. The venue is amazing staff and food quality was all amazing. The wine selection on the tables were delicious. Will be back to get some wines some day!

  Wow wow wow what a spectacular place. Grounds and house and accommodation are amazing. Staff can not do more than enough for you. Highly recommend this place but a one night stay is just not enough. We will be back

  Even though we booked last minute just a couple of hours before arriving, and didn't get to check in until well after our host was going to go home, we were greeted a smile and with fantastic service - even offering to light the fireplace for us to relax by after we settled in, and were happy to oblige with our need for an early breakfast. Unfortunately we didn't get much of an opportunity to explore the grounds as we just needed a bed for the night and had to dash our first time. When I'm next in Armidale I'll definitely be back and making sure i've got some more time to enjoy this flawless gem!
