  We left our home after a 12 month lease in better condition than it was when we moved in. Our rent was paid ahead and throughout our time there they told us the property was looked after well. Upon leaving they told us we couldn't have our bond because we had left it dirty. We had scrubbed walls, cupboards and had the carpets professionally clean. None of which was done before we moved in.

  I dealt with 3 different agents at Uphill and Schaefer over a 6 month period and had bad experiences with all of them. I found the staff unreliable and unnecessarily narky- the worst property managers I have come across.

  As a buyer they were fantastic. I dealt with Gail and Julie and both made the experience of buying our dream home a pleasant one. They were quick to respond to queries and were only too happy to answer questions relating to water pipe locations etc after the sale was completed.
